THE ROLE:
AMD is looking for dynamic and energetic SR Manager – Planning & Operations to join our NTSG - Network Technology Solutions Group. Our team fosters continuous innovation and is committed to nurturing your career growth.
THE PERSON:
You will provide support for our NTSG – Network Technology Solutions Group and join the team that is responsible for readying our hardware for release to production. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Manager who can drive activities to successful completion. The successful candidate will have experience in manufacturing, demand planning, supply chain role, preferably in high tech hardware or semiconductor industry.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:
• Aligning to sales forecast, provide timely ASICs and system demand request to GOQ ASICS team and Board Operations teams for them to drive supply
• Partner with GOQ, obtain weekly supply commit plan for both boards and ASICS, inclusive of supply quantity, mix etc
• Work with GOQ ASICS team and Board Operations team to resolve supply discrepancy when it arises
• Owner of Actual vs. MOF commit
• Drive wafer input/approval process and establish IT system readiness (IBP, Rapid Response, S & OP) to enable wafer process integration into AMD existing system. Work via manual process before automation is set up.
• Ensure the weekly supply commit aligns with customer priorities and orders. Work with sales and Business Development team, make priority calls in case of supply constraints
• Good understanding of market dynamics, gate keeper of the system cost rollup, inclusive of ASICS, DDR and Board. Provide regular update to Sales team and Management team for margin analysis
• Gate keeper of the overall inventory management, pay special attention on aging, Excess and Obsolete for ASICS and board finish goods and raw components and WIP

QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10 years of people manager experience in demand planning, supply chain role, preferably in high tech hardware or semiconductor industry
• Strong customer service focus, attention to detail and ability to “herd cats” will be integral to delivering a great experience for customers.
• System focused, process oriented, organized, adaptive and dependable team player
• Strong operational project/program management skills and abilities
• Strong analytical skill with proven ability to present conclusions and recommendations to executive audiences.
• Excellent people skills and ability to work in matrix environment.
• Good in building and leading cross regional teams
• Keep up with flexibility to work cross time zone as needed

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related technical discipline; or equivalent professional experience
