We are hiring a Senior Product Manager that will manage a centralized media data management office (DMO) and program that addresses 30+ countries through a federated model. This is a newly established team within Prime Video, purposefully embedded within the media and marketing teams to bridge media domain expertise and media data management that will support progress towards scalable, automated solutions. This office supports advancements in campaign planning, buying, execution, reporting and optimization across PV’s cross-channel media strategy. The DMO team’s workstreams will reduce inefficiencies, enable data-driven decision making, and ensure quality through governance and validation mechanisms.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will play a mix of product and program management oversight for data enablement of long-term measurement, short term reporting, and creation of media tooling for decision support and marketing technologies for streamlining and scaling workflow. Effective communication and coordination among stakeholders located in multiple regions will be a critical goal.

Leveraging strong influencing power, deep discovery skills and paired with high judgment decisioning, you will adeptly discover ways to future proof and see around corners for a dynamic piece of business. You are curious and nimble, deeply organized and technically detailed. You think big and drive results with clear working backwards approaches to big, complex challenges.


A day in the life
- Work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, develop and deliver innovative products and services that enable streamlined marketing planning and optimization at scale, starting with media but expanding beyond to other marketing channels and activities.
- Work with technical and non-technical stakeholders to vision set marketing product and tech capabilities and scalability.
- Develop, implement and enforce necessary change management and process optimization solutions across data governance and automation with internal measurement and agency tech teams.
- Establish and manage documentation of media data dictionaries, business and technical process requirements and success criteria to power engineering, science and business intelligence teams who create best-in-class solutions for customers.
- Manage bottlenecks, provide escalation, anticipate and balance business needs versus technical constraints to maximize business benefit.
- Govern adherence to high quality data management solutions through reoccurring audits and leadership level business reviews.
- Ensure ongoing communication and info sharing with central and regional stakeholders to reduce duplicative requests, discourage silos, and improve coordinated efforts.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Experience in online or digital advertising
- Experience in agency or client side media management

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
