DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a high-caliber Finance Manager to lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) for Project Santos (Buy with Prime and Multi-Channel Fulfillment). This role provides strategic support to Project Santos CEO, CFO and senior leadership on planning, analysis and reporting and will play a major role in driving business decisions. We are looking for an experienced finance leader with strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate financial results and analytical insights to senior business and finance leaders, both verbally and in writing.

Key job responsibilities
As Finance Manager, you will lead Project Santos Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function. You will: (1) Own the single source of truth for Project Santos PnL and and work with partner teams to simply and automate the production of the PnL (2) Lead the monthly and quarterly financial review with the Project Santos CEO, CFO and business and finance leadership, focused on communicating the business story succinctly and identifying key actionable insights; (3) Lead the quarterly and bi-annual planning cycles culminating in reviews with business and finance leaderships. (4) Senior leadership team (S-Team and VP level) goal development and planning. You will interact directly with senior leadership across business and finance teams to deliver results in these high-priority areas. You'll also collaborate with teams across Stores to improve processes, provide insightful analysis, and support strategic decisions. We seek an experienced leader who adapts quickly, exercises sound judgment, uses data to drive decisions, and maintains high standards.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- BA or BS in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science) and 5+ years of finance experience, or Master’s degree and 3+ years of finance experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 6+ years of identifying incomplete or inaccurate data, identifying the root cause and creating/implementing an escalation plan experience
- 6+ years of solving complex business challenges by delivering accurate and timely financial models, analysis, and recommendations that have a proven impact on business (e.g., financial savings, operational improvements, or customer benefits) experience
- MBA, or CPA
- Knowledge of SQL/ETL
- Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards)
- Experience delivering forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, and data interpretation of results

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
