Content Systems is seeking a Sr. Creative and Design Program Manager to focus on Amazon’s content creation and image rendering tools, discover opportunities to integrate generative AI, and develop customer-obsessed, innovative solutions that tackle Content Creators’ biggest challenges. As a Creative and Design Program Manager, you will be responsible for driving collaboration across UX, Tech, and Product and raising the design quality bar through processes and mechanisms. You’ll get to collaborate with creative designers, program managers, marketers, product managers, engineers, and BI analysts, and work on projects throughout the planning, design and development lifecycle. The Content Systems team owns the foundation of merchandising tools at Amazon. We aim to provide Amazon Content Creators with the most seamless experiences when creating and scheduling content for Amazon’s customers. We supply our users content metrics to make educated business decisions that drive billions in revenue annually. Key job responsibilities
* Drive cross-functional engagement model, fostering collaboration across Product, Tech, UX, and Creative Design
* Manage day-to-day operations for UX and Creative Design teams to deliver a bar-raising customer experience
* Support initiatives that introduce guardrails to generative AI/Large Language Models
* Collaborate with tech, business & science teams and influence them to iterate on product to improve CX
* Communicate team progress to broader organization and to leadership
* Develop mechanisms to help scale generative AI and deliver insights to relevant stakeholders
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 6+ years of experience as a producer, program manager, project manager, or similar role in a user experience or design team.
- Experience working with UX design, creative teams, product teams, and engineering
- Track record of working with UX and creative teams in the development of digital products
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Team player with sophisticated and assertive leadership skills.
- Ability to positively influence change through inspirational design, solid rationale, supporting data and diplomacy.
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Experience working with marketing and creative teams.
- Experience planning and executing effective customer research, either solo or in partnership with teammates.
- An understanding of (or passion to learn) AI technologies, basic machine learning principles, and broader capabilities, coupled with technical understanding for effective collaboration with engineers, architects, and AI/ML practitioners in both strategic and tactical discussions.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $112,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $186,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
