We are looking for an exceptional Senior Program Manager to improve and maintain complex business processes for Amazon Private Brands. This exciting role essential to our quest to launch product with speed across global market places for varies of business use cases. This requires continuous iteration on our development process to support the evolving business needs, accelerate technology advancements and enhance operation efficiency and throughput. This role will get to collaborate with a broad set of stakeholders including our product development managers, product design, vendor sourcing, quality and compliance testing, logistics, and software development teams.
Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities include:
• Managing the development workflows iteration on our Private Brands Central (PBC) PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) tool via workflow process maintenance, including ownership of maintenance prioritization criteria, and lead the alignment on request queue priority, development process SOP refresh, and provide tracker on progress status.
• Implement new product development workflow designs into operational processes via UAT testing, SOP set up, PBC configuration set up, org process training, and trouble shooting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to reduce E2E development dwell times.
• As a business process Subject Matter Expert (SME), provide input to business and Tech engineer discussions which aims to identify and define business needs, and develop tech solutions to reduce manual effort.
• Own in-flight development project status such as speed-to-market and process adherence weekly and monthly reporting, and input bring x-team visibility via flash or P0 tracker update etc.
• Key success metrics include on-time resolve rate on maintenance request; on-time delivery of workflow operational process; C-SAT (customer satisfaction); and dwell time saving identification.

• Program management with bias for action – this role manages complex initiatives, delivering solutions that have critical impact on product development speed. A successful candidate demonstrates the ability to identify and prioritize workflow maintenance roadmap that has high and scalable impact.
• Dive deep – master the operational details along with the development process flow, and tech capability and constraints.
• Customer obsession - Design and implement solutions for optimal customer experience, pay attention to details that make the adoption of process changes and enhancements efficient and enjoyable
• Earn trust – pay attention to UX, and foster effective teamwork to ensure defect free process set up across upstream and downstream implementation and adoption of new process.
• Invent and Simplify - You are a simplifier and have a scale mindset, with the ability to add, refine, and remove procedures to constantly increase productivity and effectiveness.

The team: Amazon Private Brands (APB) is a highly visible global business. We aspire to make every day better with the most trusted products on the planet. The Global Product Development team within the APB org is responsible for identification, prioritization, and development of product to complete our product portfolio’s breadth and depth coverage. This includes continual refresh and optimization of our portfolio to stay highly relevant and competitive.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience in Six Sigma, or Lean, and Kaizen
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 2+ years of owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
