AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we’re the people who keep the cloud running. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. AWS Infrastructure Systems (AIS) encompasses AWS Data Center Planning, Delivery, Operations and Engineering, Network Services, Infrastructure Software and Hardware, and Infrastructure Supply Chain and Procurement Planning. At AIS, we are responsible for the global enablement and capacity delivery of server, network, and data center infrastructure as well as day-to-day operations and security for AWS data centers globally. We also support capacity delivery of AWS Edge Devices, and their install and post install maintenance worldwide.

Key job responsibilities
We are looking for a high caliber Infrastructure Sr. Technical Program Manager (TiPM), who enjoys working on challenging and high impact problems. You have a passion for bridging the gap between business and technology, and love getting your hands dirty in the technical details of our business. Technical skills and analytical talent, leadership skills, emotional intelligence, high judgment, negotiation skills and ability to influence others are essential for success in this role. Most of the programs you will be leading are still in the startup mode, as we are innovating and building our vision in a fast paced environment to deliver an unparalleled customer experience, while also driving our ability to scale.

You would be joining a team of experienced TIPMs helping to build our new products, systems and services, and to enhance and scale our existing ones.
The right candidate will possess strong technical program management skills, and have already demonstrated leading medium to large scale software and system development programs. As a Sr. TIPM, you will bring your relevant experience, superior judgement, great detail tracking, and strong problem-solving and communications skills to anticipate bottlenecks/tradeoffs, provide escalation management and balance business needs against technical constraints.
