Senior TPMs on the Amazon on AWS team can typically expect to directly engage with developers and customers to address challenging problems, orchestrate the building of software with the latest technologies, and make data-driven decisions to improve the customer experience. Your responsibilities extend to scaling systems by managing internal and external stakeholders across various domains, from business and operations to engineering, science, and deployment. As a Senior TPM, you will navigate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make strategic tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints. The role also involves scoping and delivering large projects end-to-end, collecting requirements, writing specifications, and coordinating design/implementation efforts. Ideally, you possess a strong program management background, demonstrated experience leading medium to large projects, and a well-rounded technical proficiency in current web technologies.

You are encouraged to think big, invent and take ownership on customer challenges. You will not only bring the best of AWS/Amazon to our customers, you will proactively help solve the customer’s challenges through new ideas, tools and mechanisms.


Role could require travel depending on candidate location, 25-35%.
