DESCRIPTION

The Growth Marketing Business Analyst (BA) is responsible for driving key insights surrounding the programs and projects that are designed to help facilitate new account signup and self-service revenue. The BA will partner closely with Growth Marketing program managers to design, monitor, and optimize dashboards and reporting that help inform program and business decisions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of not only how to build state-of-the-art reporting, but the insights these reports surface to help facilitate business outcomes.

Key job responsibilities
- Proactively identify business problems and opportunities, facilitate cross-functional analysis to uncover root causes, and define analytical strategies to drive sustained competitive advantage.
- Lead the definition of best practices and standards for analyses, reports, and data visualization across programs.
- Demonstrate the ability to solve ambiguous and challenging analytical projects, flexibly leveraging advanced tools and techniques.
- Advocate for the adoption of novel analytics capabilities.
- Consistently communicate complex insights in a clear, compelling manner.
- Drive project management for team-level analytics initiatives.

The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Experience in business or financial analysis
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, SQL, Quicksight, or similar tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
