Position Summary
As a Network Engineer on the team you will provide mission critical technology support and execution. Your day to day will include Low Voltage engineering, design, and standards compliance throughout the company and its enterprises.
Some of the main responsibilities for this role include:
– Designing and implementing Low voltage cabling for team projects.
– Providing site evaluations and selections (Due diligence evaluations).
– Working with Architect to develop Construction documents (CD's).
– Evaluating Vendor pricing and bids.
– Performing Construction management – Managing vendor activity as it pertains to Low voltage infrastructure.
– Acting as liaison between construction projects and CVS IT to coordinate IT activities.
– Defining, documenting, and enforcing Cabling standards. – Designing, recommending, and implementing new solutions to improve environment.
– Managing and documenting the life cycle of the Low Voltage infrastructure from Design, Implement, Move Add or Change, troubleshoot to demo

– Collaborate across departments to determine optimal system implementations

Required Qualifications
– 2+ years of experience working with Low Voltage Cabling-Know the specific properties, limitations and troubleshooting
– 2+ years of experience with Low Voltage Copper and Fiber cabling infrastructure
– Strong skills in MS Office products

Preferred Qualifications
– Highly organized individual able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– 2 + years of project management experience.
– Basic knowledge of Cisco switch architecture.
– Be able to take instructions from senior members of the team.
– RCDD Certification.

Education

Bachelors Degree in IT or Computer science or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,705.00 – $154,500.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
