We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer, Mechanical to join our team in Bukit Damansara, Malaysia . This role will require the ability to solve problems that deliver and optimise safe, sustainable and ethical solutions for the design, production and operation of devices, machines, structures, processes and systems involving mechanical elements.
Duties and Responsibilities
Acts as a senior technical resource, providing expert advice and guidance to the team.
Delivers specialized technical insights for studies and design processes within the area of expertise.
Creates study and design procedures to support high-quality, cost-effective work by team members.
Engages in interdisciplinary reviews to ensure the accuracy and quality of project deliverables.
Develops estimates for construction costs and technical efforts required for project completion.
Applies expertise across all phases of the PS&E (Plans, Specifications, and Estimates) package development.
Conducts quality control reviews of design calculations and technical drawings.
Drafts sections of technical specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements.
Contributes to the development of engineering budgets and schedules, aligning them with project goals.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering required
Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering
Advanced knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and their application
Proficiency in CAD software for model preparation and post-processing
Proven track record of leading projects and mentoring junior engineers
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
