The Opportunity

As a Compensation Program Manager, you will be at the forefront of our compensation strategy, ensuring that our practices not only align with global regulations but also support our strategic objectives. This role requires a strong operational and communicative compensation analyst who will build successful relationships with partners across Employee Experience and beyond, through a proactive approach to designing competitive compensation programs which support Adobe’s compensation philosophy.

What you'll Do

  • Provide technical, analytical, and administrative support to short- and long-term incentive programs, including end-to-end global roll-out and communications, and tracking & reporting out equity spend to executive team and HRBPs in partnership with Exec and Equity Program Owner.
  • Lead the design and execution of Adobe’s retention strategies and Total Direct Compensation (TDC) initiatives related the overall performance philosophy, integrating relevant metrics into compensation-related events and ensuring that strategies effectively promote employee retention and engagement
  • Prepare a variety of compensation analyses, financial models, forecasts, reports, and presentations targeted to senior leaders and executives for annual budget review
  • Collaborate with the Talent Management team to deliver bonus program education connected to our overall performance strategy to all employees
  • Provide ad hoc compensation consulting support to the Compensation Partnering team, which may include through close collaboration conducting market analyses, benchmarking roles, and consulting on compensation packages that align with our overall compensation philosophy and framework
  • Design and lead the Quarterly Business Review (QBR), highlighting key achievements, upcoming initiatives, and lessons learned from the Global Compensation team to be shared with Employee Experience leadership
  • Manage the various bonus types within Workday, ensuring accurate tracking and usage reporting in collaboration with finance

What you need to succeed

  • 5-7 years of global compensation experience
  • Experience working with compensation program design, competitive market analysis, forecasting trends/costs and modeling outcomes
  • Familiarity with compensation compliance rules globally
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Strong interpersonal and consulting skills with the capability to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Effective verbal, and written communication skills
  • Collaborative team player
  • Resourceful self-starter
  • Proficiency with HRIS, Workday preferred, and market analysis tools

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $70,100 -- $160,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
