The Identity team is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build and evolve the next generation of identity services for Adobe’s cloud platform. This highly motivated engineer can bring ideas from concept to prototype to product. We want to adapt quickly, interact directly with client services and applications and our end users, build the best services possible and always be looking to the future. What you'll do

  • Craft and develop high-performance, reliable and maintainable code whether building a new feature from ground up or implementing architectural improvements, features, or fixing bugs.
  • Own the Design and Implementation of a service architecture in cloud environment.
  • Ensure strong security and compliance practices in data handling and distribution and build quality into system from Design through Deployment.
  • Embrace a highly collaborative and effective team that requires strong communication and leading skills.
  • Work with minimal technical supervision and supplemental engineering support while balancing multiple contending priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Work in all layers of an n-tier application stack, developing performance and availability optimizations, and security best practices.

What you need to succeed

  • 10+ years overall development experience using web technologies and building web services.
  • Proven track record working in Java/Kotlin or similar language, Extensive knowledge of Hibernate, Spring.
  • Experienced with Cloud design patters and hands on crafting/ implementing online services using cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure or GCP building REST based Micro-services.
  • Experience with Test Driven Development, Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
  • Excellent knowledge of System Alerting and Monitoring, Scalability, Availability & Performance.
  • Hands on experience working with NoSQL /SQL DB’s like MySQL/Cassandra.

Preferred

  • Knowledge of Big data, data intensive applications and data pipelines.
  • Experience with TestNG/Mockito, Maven2, cloud-based CI/CD tools a plus.
  • Experience with building Event-Driven architectures on AWS and Microsoft Azure a strong plus.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $154,000 -- $278,800 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
