The Solution Architect Senior Manager role is a client facing role that collaborates effectively as a key member of the sales team to understand and translate buyer requirements into an innovative and value-oriented solution in alignment with client objectives

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serving as a Single Point of Contact for operations solution activities during the sales pursuit, due diligence and transfer to operations

  • Preparing the spend estimate, solution schedule, work plan, and solution staff plan

  • Developing the operations solution plan, risk analysis and cost estimate leveraging established processes and deliverables

  • Interfacing with the delivery organization/s to ensure effective transition, shape services, collaborate on clear solution assumptions, determine appropriate service delivery locations and related cost to deliver

  • Directing and coordinating with Legal & Commercial and Corporate Transaction Services (CTS) for pricing

  • Leading solution reviews and driving the necessary sign-off of the solution with proper input from the Operating Groups on client business objectives, industry, risk assessment, budget and legal

  • Orchestrating the action points coming out of the opportunity Quality Assurance process

  • Aligning final solution architecture (including statement of work, schedules and other contractual documents) with final terms and conditions

  • Validating the delivery architecture is implemented according to policies standards and solution is benchmarked externally

  • Developing and maintaining a keen understanding of the health industry, marketplace intelligence trends, competition, emerging capabilities, analytics, tools and techniques that can be effectively utilized to develop differentiating solution for Accenture clients

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Health, Life Sciences and/or Pharma

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with solution planning, value targeting and deal shaping

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with health clinical services (e.g. Utilization Management / Care Management)

  • Business operations experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Strong analytical / problem solving skills and a strong interest and comfort level with independently led data analysis (both quantitative and qualitative)

  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to travel

  • Proven ability to build, manage and foster a team-oriented environment

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment

  • Desire to work in a fast pacing dynamic environment

  • Excellent leadership and management skills

  • Sales and negotiation skill

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Maryland, New York or Washington as set forth below.
